I should have put him in a teacup

I might need to do another shoot with the idea in the title... It's because when I received this set, I then noticed that the hat is fashioned after a teacup! How incredibly cute is that? The real reason I got this was to get some more variety in Hippu's wardrobe, and to get him some Dollheart pants that would stay on his narrow hips. So now my first doll has an all-DH ensemble. And with parts to spare. Damn these things are addictive. Now I dread they might come up with things that would suit Hani and Milki, since the twins definitely would rock in more frills.




But aside the rare new doll purchases, I just had to push myself today to take some pictures. I'm now into my second week of summer holiday and so far I haven't done much. Mostly I've taken naps during the day and watched M.A.S.H. seasons from 7 through to 10. I did manage to begin reading the Memory of Light, the last book of Wheel of Time. Almost done with that and honestly, they could have cut nearly half of what is in this book... The whole stretching the final book into a trilogy of its own spurs images of the Hobbit movies into mind. Cashing in...

Oh I did go to see my hairdresser and actually got a perm XD I have hair as straight as string being weighed down, and I only rarely make the effort to curl it. But now it's curly. A bit more curly than I would have liked (I wanted really big, flowy waves), but at least it is way more full than before, hair pruducts or not. Valentine says I look more like my mother now, which I don't know how to feel about...



And yesterday I went to shop the summer sales, and actually found a few tops to add to my own wardrobe. I have to take advantage of the romantic trends that have come during the spring. And these are light, stretchy tops, which is what I need during the summer. And they steer my attention away from the china shirts that failed me. Speaking of which, I still have not received my replacement for Fyrd's clothing. Full review of TaoBaoNow coming when this affair is finally settled, but you can count on it that I won't be using them again.

On a more positive note, I've been using the chiffon skirts I got from Fan+Friend a lot lately. Especially the brown/ivory one is very nice. The mint one has cheaper lace, which is a bummer, but it should still work with very casual coords. The white skirt is also looking good, although I need a better petti for it. Now just to order that, while I still fit into them :P
