Wearing your heart on your sleeve
I actually had to look this phrase up, since I wanted to make sure I knew what it meant. And while so, I found out some theories on how the expression came to be. One of them being, that it stems from the old tradition of knights wearing the colours of their ladies on their sleeves. And then it struck me what I'd do for this photo :D And in the end, ended up with a whole set of photos, yey!
Nigel is not one to openly show his feelings. So wearing a band for Audrye would suit him just fine. If he wasn't so anti-romantic and despised parties, he'd be engaged to her by now, if only to have the ring to show that he was hers. :3
Myself, I don't wear a ring, despite being married for years now. My main reason is that the ring we got is now too large for me and I didn't like it anyway. I much prefer the freedom to wear whatever jewellery I want and what goes with my outfit of the day. Valentine sometimes picks at me for not wearing the jewellery that he's gotten me, but I just have so many!
The only piece of jewellery that I've constantly worn for a while now, is the silver spiral on my left wrist. Originally intended as a neclace, I've wrapped the band as a bracelet, since I need my neck for other accessories. The spiral is not loli-compatible, but it can be hidden under a wristcuff and I love playing with it.
Actually Deary guessed it one time and asked me directly, whether I wore it because of Fyrd. Correct. I wear it so I have something to play with, but also as a reminder that you can be whatever you want to be, you don't have to be shackled by destiny and that redheads are cute.
I have to admit this is my favorite set of yours for awhile! x3 (by all means, they are all good.) First and second pic just steal my heart. x3
VastaaPoistaYeah I haven't even done proper sets in a while so I'm glad I've still got it :D But with Nigel I just always try out these different poses or angles and voila we have a set!
