Edges of Music
While taking the photo for last weeks challenge, I also took some other photos of Alexander and his guitar. All the photos ended up looking very different from each other and they all needed to be edited a bit differently to make them look their best. So not the most cohesive photo shoot I've done, but maybe the differences are what really make them interesting? The title tries to portray this a bit, like a song has all these different parts in them.
It was so hard to try make Lex 'play' his guitar... The LM elbows really aren't made for holding anything. I also have no idea how to play a guitar, so please don't shoot me if he's looking like he's doing something funny there XD Well, of course there's the fact that he couldn't really play an electric guitar outdoors with no cord... We'll just pretend like there's a really long cord there just hiding behing him, eh?
I was almost done with this shoot when I remebered I had promised myself to take more landscape photos. It really is more challenging. I have to think extra hard how to fill all that space.
When I was taking this shot, some people drove by on their bicycles. A father with two kids, I think, I didn't look too much at them. But the father apparently took interest on what I was doing as I heard him saying (loud enough that maybe he was trying to talk to me) that he had though the doll was holding a machine gun and lying there, like dead. Suuure... I can see how one could be mistaken.
And whenever I take Alex out to the sun, I just always drag him into direct sunlight. It's so hard to see his eyes, but once they catch sunlight, they just burst! And I so love this custom colour-combo I ordered from ED, it's a shame people don't get to see it that much :D
