I'm still your favourite, right?

Alex looks just so... tempting would be the word I'd use if this wasn't A) a doll B) a supposed-sixteen-year-old. And the truth is, he is my favourite atm. Well, shared first-place with Hippu, but that's a given.

Alexander Hope, as a character, tries to be this overly cool young man who doesn't give a shit about anyone or anything. He stays by himself a lot and although he plays guitar in a band, his band-mates don't really know much about him. to everyone around him, he seems to be this very aloof, distant and maybe even a cold person.



In truth though, Alex has always felt really abandoned. His mother left him right after he was born and his father was never around. His aunt Sybil has taken care of him for all his life and although he loves his aunt, they don't have much anything in common. Sybil just lets him do whatever he wants as long as it doesn't involve getting into trouble with the police.



The only relative Alex has ever felt close to is his other aunt, Emma. They both treat each other more like Emma was his older sister though. But Emma lives a busy mercenary life and rarely visits them in London. But when she does come by, they always hang out and Alex enjoys this tremendeously. He loves to hear about Emma's adventures and wishes that he could run away from the gloomy London as well.

Being an only son to all three - his father and both of his aunts - Alex has always been the 'favourite'. He would never admit it, but he really loves it. So when Emma gets herself a serious boyfriend, Alex feels very threatened by this, nevermind that this new man keeps her in London and closer to Alex as well.



So now Alex is very nervous about Nigel's arrival, since he fears the hacker-boy will steal his spot in the limelight :3 Nigel is also Emma's best friend, so that adds up to his stress-levels.

And yeah, I put Fyrd's eyes in Alex to try them out with Fyrd's wigs and then I didn't have the energy to change them up again. They look good in him though! Very good. But I can't have two dolls with the same eye colour :( So once Fyrd gets home (whenever that'd be!) he'll steal these back and Alex'll go back to his quirky eyes.
